One year on, and still no crackle at Snap!North London's Snap! Studios – the brainchild of Funky Junk founder Mark Thompson – has just marked its first anniversary in business and the place is flourishing, writes Jim Evans. As everyone in the studio sector knows, it's far from easy out there, but no-one seems to have told the Snap! crew. They have hit on a winning formula and the place is going from strength to strength.

Studio manager Marco Pasquariello has been in the driving seat since Day One. "It's been a good 12 months," he reports. "Obviously it took a little while for our name to get around. But after the first few sessions, we realised there wasn't much that needed changing, people seemed to really like the place."
