In what is undoubtedly a major coup for the AES, the association has confirmed details of a conversation to take place between producer/engineer Rhil Ramone, engineer/studio owner/producer Dae Bennett and iconic singer Tony Bennett (pictured).

Due to take place on 20 October between 2.30 and 4.00pm, the conversation will focus on Bennett’s new CD, Duets II, which features the singer performing standards in the company of Norah Jones, Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson, Andrea Boccelli and Lady Gaga, among others.

The event will be a centrepiece of Day One of the four-day AES Convention at New York’s Javits Centre.
