Channel Marketing Manager - Professional
Due to the ongoing growth and strengthening of our Marketing Team, Sennheiser UK Ltd now has a vacancy for a Channel Marketing Manager, responsible for the Professional markets. This includes Professional Audio (Live Sound), Installed Sound and communications support for a range of third party brands.
  
Product Communications
* Develop a strong and cross-tactical product communications plan. Ensure consistency, yet adaptable plans to suit the varying product and business needs in each division.
* Execution of those plans through the relevant agencies and manage time to balance those tasks that need to be handled in-house.
* Maintain a business understanding of competitor activity and clearly demonstrate that knowledge to better position Sennheiser products through channel comms.
* Disseminate the product and channel successes in a format that encourages use by the sales team and in turn, generating business.
* Deploy and manage timely product and channel communications channel marketing tactics such as Events, Media, CRM, Telemarketing, Advertising, Point of sale, Online and Direct Marketing.
* Work to deliver communications that exceed standards set in the initial launch brief from Product Management.
* Evaluate launch communication success and monitor the products presence (visibility) throughout its life cycle.
Channel Communications
* Manage the expectations of the division sales managers and create transparency of results through Product Management.
* Platform management to support divisions where channel penetration is high i.e. CRM, Portals and Private Purchase. Scale of use should be justified and planned.
* Create a well planned and consistent Direct Marketing calendar that penetrates the channel when locally agreed by Product Management.
* Support the MDF fund management, driven by product management to ensure efficiency and cost driven results.
Key Account Communications
* Work with Product Managers to construct resilient and tailored key account marketing plans.
* Strengthen account relationships and support the relationship between the customer and the Product Managers.
* Establish Partner Portals for accounts and partners where there being a suitable opportunity.
Marketing Management
* Re-develop feature rich B2B focused web tools such as a new merchant area in-line with eCommerce roll-out plans.
* Manage all channel-based agencies where outsourced support is needed. i.e. Telemarketing, CRM, Creative and eMail.
* Market research as required by line manager.
* Facilitate and manage Direct Marketing efficiency for both Sennheiser and direct customer based comms.
* Drive targeted growth of eCommerce in a responsible format that extends the purchasing options for trade, alongside Brand and end-user marketing.
* Platform management to support divisions where channel penetration is high i.e. CRM / Portals / Private Purchase / Profile Forms.
General
* Planning, forecasting, implementation and administration of allocated budget set by line manager.
* Responsible for managing related external invoices & purchase order creation for Channel marketing activities.
* Assistance in special projects, as required by the line manager. Along with any channel administration support.
* Work closely with Brand Marketing Manager to interlink activities, where appropriate
Drive, motivate and inspire colleagues and agencies to create a working model that works in-line with division objectives.
* Bottom up planning and visibility on high level investments i.e. trade shows.
* Assist in the internal training, USP positioning with the relevant agencies.
* Demonstrate multiple project management excellence, delegating appropriately and ruthlessly to drive efficiency.
* Feed all activities into the overall marketing plan.
* Full accountability for channel communications in chosen division.
