Bruce Hofer – chairman and co-founder of Audio Precision – is to address ‘The Ins and Outs of Audio’ at the next AES Conference, which will take place at the University of Surrey on 27/28 June.

“I’m honoured to be offered this opportunity to take the keynote speech at the next AES Conference. Frankly, what audio engineer wouldn't jump at the chance?” said Hofer (pictured), who has been at the helm of Audio Precision since 1984.

Conference chair Nathan Bentall commented: “We feel immensely privileged to have Bruce Hofer deliver the keynote at the 24th Audio Engineering Society UK conference. As chairman and co-founder of Audio Precision, Bruce has had a huge impact on audio equipment design — it is so often upon Bruce’s circuits that we rely to measure the success of our own efforts. For everyone involved in audio design, this conference provides a rare opportunity to hear from such an experienced ‘veteran’ of the industry. This is an event you won’t want to miss.”

The AES Conference runs for two days from June 27, and is being held at the Institute of Sound Recording at the University of Surrey, Guildford.
