The SoundCaddy One incorporates six 3.5” custom drivers for the mid-range/HF section using technology developed for HK’s Elements system. Vertically aligned and mounted on an extendable pole which drops down into the main enclosure for storage, they offer all the benefits of a line array, including a uniform 70º x 15º coverage pattern designed to spread sound pressure evenly to the entire audience from the front row to the back. Engineered specifically for SoundCaddy One, the integral subwoofer is loaded with three 6” woofers said to provide the perfect underpinning of the lower frequency range.
The speakers are driven by a built-in Class-D power amp delivering 600W and producing a maximum SPL of 120dB (@ 10% THD). The SoundCaddy One offers a range of connection options; the integrated mixing console accepts up to four signal sources simultaneously - including microphone, guitar, MP3 player etc - and is designed to be easily accessible at the rear of the enclosure. The overall frequency response of the system is quoted at 49Hz - 18kHz +/-3dB with crossover taking place at 150Hz (12dB/octave).
And another thing…
With integral carrying handles and built-in wheels, the 27cm x 102cm x 34cm SoundCaddy One enclosure is said to be easily transportable and “set up in seconds”.
